An Interview...

In this opportunity I will present an interview with my friend Catalina...

 Florencia: Hi Catalina, how are you?

 Catalina: Hi Flor, I'am fine and you?

 F: I'm fine too, thank you, I have some questions for you...

 C: Ok, tell me

 F: When were you born?

C: I was born in september 7th in 1993

 F: Where?

 C:  I was born in La Florida, Santiago.

 F: and, where do you live?

 C: I live in the same place, in the same house.

 F: What do you do in life?

 C: I study Art in the Universidad de Chile and work part-time.

 F: Do you like your study programme? and Do you like your job?

 C: Yes, I love study art, however working part time is really exahusted!

 F: What area of art do you like?

 C: I like the drawing and painting.

 F: Oh, it's really interesting and beautiful discipline.

Why archaeology?

When I was a little girl, I dreamt about studying a lot of carrers, I thought I wanted to be a architect, singer, teacher or a writer, but with the time I forgot these ideas... My brothers and sisters directed me for diferent interests in the music, in the book and other things. When I was a child I was a cyclist, but i didn´t carry on in this sport for the schedule of the primary school. Later, when I finished the school in the 2013, I applied to two carrers only, with the hope to be accepted in Anthropology to study Archaeology, in spite of the fact that I didn't have enough score, finally I entered to study Archaeology because I got a scholarship in the Universidad de Chile. Today I study archaeology and I feel really well, I enjoy my career and study even when it is kind of truly dificult sometimes. I don't know what speciality I should take, but I can say that I like the investigation to be on the ground.

About me.

In this blog I will write about different topics. In this moment I am writing about my life, my childhood and my current life. First my name is Florencia Marín and I was born on  October 29, in Santiago. I´m 23 years old, I grew up and studied in La Florida, first I went to El Almendral Elementary, soon I went to Tajamar Secondary, now I am studying Archaeology in Universidad de Chile, this is my fifth year in this programme and I really like it. When I have  free time I try to work in Archaeology, it's a really enjoyable. I grow with many brothers and sisters, I’m the seventh of nine. My childhood was really funny, I played a lot whit my family. When I turned 15, I went to live with my eldest sister, Paulina, this same year I changed school, on other place of the city close to the center, in Providencia. Now I live in La Florida again, and I study in the University since 2014. I have some hobbies, but I feel I don’t have time for this activities, ...

ABOUT the use of BLOG

Hi there, this is the last publication of the preintermediante level, and I write base on my opinion about  the use of blog as a pedagogical method. In the first instance I thougth it was a not very good activity because I ask me if really help to learn this language; with the time I was realizing that I need think in english for express my self through writing. I think it would greatly improve focused all published in the diversity of the technical language of the Faculty of the Social Sciences, because despite everything we share a lot of related concepts. W ith the above, seek to develop a greater use of technical language that is relevant at the time of reading and writing topics related to our study programs, which are often difficult to understand because of their specificity.
