Small Axe

In this moment I wrote about the perfect song, but this subject is very difficult because I can´t make up my mind, I listening the diferent kind of music, generally I obsses for someone for a period of time. Just now I lost my headphones and I don´t listening really many music. Normally, I wrote about the last song I have heard and  it is used  as the favorite song.

Nevertheless,  I decided to choose a song that generally reminds me of good times, and it is really interesting to be able to interpret what it really refers to, I chose "Small axe" that is in the "Burnin",  album of the 1973 of the group The Wailers, which was part Bob Marley. During the first periods of his music, he produced mainly protest songs, in relation to his historical moment, largely related to the black revindications in the United States since the late 60s. He managed to position himself with great success even internationally.
In my opinion, The Wiling Wailers and The Wailers are the best moments of Bob, when he writes the best songs, which only need to listen carefully to think them for what they really are.

Why archaeology?

When I was a little girl, I dreamt about studying a lot of carrers, I thought I wanted to be a architect, singer, teacher or a writer, but with the time I forgot these ideas... My brothers and sisters directed me for diferent interests in the music, in the book and other things. When I was a child I was a cyclist, but i didn´t carry on in this sport for the schedule of the primary school. Later, when I finished the school in the 2013, I applied to two carrers only, with the hope to be accepted in Anthropology to study Archaeology, in spite of the fact that I didn't have enough score, finally I entered to study Archaeology because I got a scholarship in the Universidad de Chile. Today I study archaeology and I feel really well, I enjoy my career and study even when it is kind of truly dificult sometimes. I don't know what speciality I should take, but I can say that I like the investigation to be on the ground.

About me.

In this blog I will write about different topics. In this moment I am writing about my life, my childhood and my current life. First my name is Florencia Marín and I was born on  October 29, in Santiago. I´m 23 years old, I grew up and studied in La Florida, first I went to El Almendral Elementary, soon I went to Tajamar Secondary, now I am studying Archaeology in Universidad de Chile, this is my fifth year in this programme and I really like it. When I have  free time I try to work in Archaeology, it's a really enjoyable. I grow with many brothers and sisters, I’m the seventh of nine. My childhood was really funny, I played a lot whit my family. When I turned 15, I went to live with my eldest sister, Paulina, this same year I changed school, on other place of the city close to the center, in Providencia. ABOUT the use of BLOG

Hi there, this is the last publication of the preintermediante level, and I write base on my opinion about  the use of blog as a pedagogical method. In the first instance I thougth it was a not very good activity because I ask me if really help to learn this language; with the time I was realizing that I need think in english for express my self through writing. I think it would greatly improve focused all published in the diversity of the technical language of the Faculty of the Social Sciences, because despite everything we share a lot of related concepts. W ith the above, seek to develop a greater use of technical language that is relevant at the time of reading and writing topics related to our study programs, which are often difficult to understand because of their specificity.
